Your records, your control: language, security, hosting and ISO-ready records

Quanto documents library by project and class with drawing revisions

Moving project records into a shared system is a serious decision. Before a company does it, it needs straight answers: who owns the data, where it is kept, who can see it, and what happens if we leave. This article gives those answers.

You own your data

Your records are yours. You can download your files and export your records at any time. After a subscription ends, the account stays readable for 90 days so you can take everything with you. When a free trial ends, nothing is deleted; the account becomes read-only until you subscribe.

Who can see what

  • Access is set by party and level: view, edit, approve.
  • Contractor-only information, such as orders, costs, margins, cheques and suppliers, is never shown to the owner or the consultant.
  • Drafts stay with the company that wrote them until they are sent.
  • Each company's data is kept separate from every other company's.

Nothing silently deleted

Records in Quanto are never silently deleted. Changes are logged with who and when. That matters in two places: in a dispute, where the reliability of a record decides its weight, and in an audit, where a full history is exactly what is asked for.

Where the data is kept

By default, data is kept on our secure cloud in the EU, with encrypted connections (HTTPS) everywhere. If your company or your client needs the data in your own country, there are two options:

  • In-country hosting (Business and above): your data stays in your country, on an installation shared with other companies from that country, in the countries where one is open.
  • Dedicated environment (Corporate and Enterprise): your own separate installation, in the country you choose.

If you move, we move your company and all its projects for you, and the partners you invited keep their access.

Records in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001

Quanto keeps the project records an ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 system needs:

  • controlled documents with revisions and transmittals; drawings marked for approval, for construction, as built or superseded;
  • NCRs with root cause and corrective action;
  • inspections against the inspection and test plan;
  • approved materials with their certificates;
  • incident reports, each with its history.

Quanto does not certify you; the certification itself is done by your certification body. But when the auditor asks for evidence, it is in one place, with its history.

Arabic and English, on every screen

Every screen is in Arabic and English, right-to-left for Arabic, and each user chooses their language. Arabic-speaking and English-speaking staff work on the same record without translation.

Not a replacement for your accounts

Quanto manages the project side: contract, cost commitments, payments and cash flow. It does not replace your accounting system. It connects to Zoho Books for suppliers, accounts and projects (Business and above), and Enterprise can connect to other accounting systems.
