What the notice contains
- The nature of the hindrance and since when it exists.
- Its cause, and that it is not within the contractor's responsibility.
- The work affected (LV items, sections) and the effect on progress, as far as it can be seen.
- Reservation of the extension of time (§ 6 Abs. 2 and 4) and of the additional cost (§ 6 Abs. 6 VOB/B, § 642 BGB).
- Photos, a Bautagebuch extract and correspondence as enclosures.
